Heard for Joy
During the COVID-19 crisis, we were giving out gingerbread hearts, which meant more to us than just making people happy.
In May, we visited Berenika, a centre for social services aiming at individuals with physical and mental disabilities, based in Vysoké Mýto. We went there to give the local clients and staff members our gingerbread hearts to comfort all those required to follow very strict hygiene measures. Whether sheltered housing or day-care clients, everyone was happy about the visit and appreciated the gifts very much.
